Curried Granola Snack Mix

Spicy, sweet and salty all in one delicious granola and cereal snack mix perfect for snacking on the go!


  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup turbinado sugar
  • 1/2 cup agave syrup
  • 4 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 5 cups Cascadian Farm™ Organic Multi Grain Squares
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seed
  • 1 1/2 cups roasted and salted whole cashews
  • 1 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1 cup dried cranberries


  1. Step 1

    Heat oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2

    In small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, agave, curry powder, cumin, salt, ginger and red pepper; blend well.
  3. Step 3

    Place cereal in large bowl. Pour butter mixture over cereal; stir to coat well.
  4. Step 4

    Add the spice mixture and sesame seeds and mix gently to combine, stirring cautiously to avoid breaking the cereal. Spread on baking sheet.
  5. Step 5

    Bake 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Carefully loosen from cooking parchment paper, and break into large chunks. Add cashews, apricots and cranberries; toss to combine. Store in airtight container.
